| Automation in the classroom follows two main objectives: One is to overcome restrictions imposed by limited workforce (or growing labour cost), the other to provide constant conditions for recording. Furthermore, the aim is to provide a framework for recording in the classroom with no or minimal impact on lecturers. This leads to developments in the following areas: |
At ETH Zurich, most lecture halls are already equipped with microphones and loudspeakers. We take the audio signal from a recording out (-10dBV) and bring it asymmetrically to the Playmobil. The only prerequisite to this working is the lecturer switching on the microphone.
